KPS Capital Partners buys Novacel from Compagnie Chargeurs Invest SA
The carve-out gives the protective-films business independent platform status after operating as a Compagnie Chargeurs Invest SA division since 1982.
KPS Capital Partners acquired Novacel, global manufacturer of industrial protective films, technical tapes, and application machines.
The company serves more than 3,000 customers worldwide across construction, industrial, appliance and transportation end markets, with operations in Europe, the Americas and Asia-Pacific.
Novacel’s production network includes sites in France, Italy and the United States, supported by global service and distribution centers.
H.I.G. WhiteHorse provided debt financing for the acquisition.
