Pacific Avenue Capital Partners acquired ESE World, a manufacturer of waste and recycling container systems, from packaging company Amcor, marking the firm’s third European transaction and the first from its Fund II and a dedicated European sidecar.

The company produces mobile waste containers, collection banks, hazardous materials containers, and public furnishing solutions at three facilities in Germany and France, serving municipalities and businesses across Europe.

The business generates about €300 million in revenue.

The acquisition was financed with equity from Pacific Avenue’s Fund II and sidecar and debt from General Atlantic.

Pacific Avenue plans to pursue operational improvement, geographic expansion, and add-on acquisitions for the newly independent company.
