Carr's Hill Partners buys Louisiana conduit maker OMNI
OMNI, a 40-year-old maker of multi-duct conduit for communication, transportation, and utility infrastructure, is Carr's Hill's third Fund I investment; terms were undisclosed.
Carr's Hill Partners acquired OMNI, a Louisiana manufacturer of conduit systems for underground and transportation infrastructure formed from Opti-Com Manufacturing Network and the Sunbelt plastics business.
Founded in 1985 and based in Elmwood and Slidell, Louisiana, OMNI makes proprietary multi-duct Opti-Com and Micro-Com systems alongside single-duct HDPE and PVC conduit, serving communication, transportation, utility, and industrial infrastructure markets across the Southeast.
Cameron Currie joins as chief executive.
The deal is the third investment from Carr's Hill's debut fund, which targets family- and founder-owned industrial businesses on the Gulf Coast.
