OB Streem, an H.I.G. Capital-backed logistics platform, has acquired Med Frigo, a Greek temperature-controlled transportation and logistics provider specializing in the aquaculture export market.

Founded in 1991, Med Frigo combines owned infrastructure with optimized round-trip fleet operations to serve fresh fish exporters.

The combined platform generates over $500 million in annual revenue and operates across eight countries.

OB Streem contributes 400,000 square metres of dry and refrigerated warehouse space and more than 2,000 employees.

The acquisition adds cold-chain expertise and broadens OB Streem’s geographic presence in Southeast Europe, a move H.I.G. Capital said will create operational efficiencies and closer customer relationships.
