Yellow Wood Partners-backed Dr. Scholl's added VKTRY, an athletic performance brand specializing in premium carbon-fiber insoles and footwear technology, to its foot health and wellness platform.
The add-on brings a direct-to-consumer sports customer base serving athletes of all ages and skill levels into Dr. Scholl's lower-body health and performance portfolio.
VKTRY sells patented performance insoles through a digital-commerce model.
Its products use carbon-fiber technology designed for athletic use, with the brand marketed to youth, amateur and professional athletes as well as fitness consumers.
VKTRY will continue operating under its existing brand identity and leadership team, with support from Dr. Scholl's and Yellow Wood Partners.
The transaction pairs Dr. Scholl's retail scale and foot care portfolio with VKTRY's e-commerce channel, customer following and sports-focused product line.
Dr. Scholl's is part of Scholl's Wellness Company and sells foot care, lower-body health, treatment, skin care and foot grooming products.
Yellow Wood Partners is a Boston-based private equity firm focused on middle-market consumer brands across mass, drug, food, specialty, value, club and e-commerce channels.
