26North completes acquisition of Intermedia Intelligent Communications

Sunnyvale, Calif.-based Intermedia Intelligent Communications, a provider of AI-powered cloud communications, collaboration and customer engagement software, has moved from Madison Dearborn Partners to 26North.
The company serves more than 150,000 business customers through more than 7,500 channel partners, with offerings spanning voice, video conferencing, chat, SMS, contact center, business email, file sharing, backup, security and archiving.
Terms were not disclosed.
“Intermedia has built a highly attractive, fast-growing business around a model that aligns closely with both partners and customers,” said Tyler Sipprelle, 26North Private Equity Partner.
With 26North’s backing, Intermedia plans to focus on AI innovation, partner enablement, vertical-market capabilities, international growth and acquisitions that complement its platform.
26North Partners LP, founded by Josh Harris in 2022, manages approximately $37 billion across private equity, private credit, insurance and reinsurance strategies.
