HiGro Group-backed Daida has acquired Scan-Optics, LLC, a Manchester, Connecticut-based provider of intelligent document processing and digital transformation solutions.

Founded in 1968, Scan-Optics operates a 32,000-square-foot secure production facility capable of digitizing up to four million pages daily, serving state and local government, higher education, financial services, and insurance clients.

The bolt-on deepens Daida's presence in the Northeast and adds to its national base of more than 600 government clients.

Scan-Optics holds SOC II, HIPAA, and CJIS certifications, reflecting the compliance infrastructure required by its regulated client base.

"This acquisition deepens HiGro's investment in a sector we believe is entering a sustained period of growth," said Ernest Lyles, Managing Partner of HiGro.

The transaction was funded through a combination of cash on hand and debt financing provided by Lafayette Square LLC.
