Post Oak Energy Capital sells NGNV and Quantent’s Haynesville assets

Built with NGNV and Quantent, the positions comprise Haynesville gas acreage that was made drill-ready and partly developed over separate investment cycles.

Producing Haynesville natural gas assets assembled by NGNV and Quantent in partnership with Post Oak Energy Capital were sold in a simultaneous exit by the Houston-based energy private equity firm.

NGNV and Quantent built drill-ready positions in the Haynesville and developed a portion of the assets during their respective investment cycles.

“We are pleased to have once again partnered with outstanding energy entrepreneurs in NGNV and Quantent, both of whom executed well-defined business plans by assembling and developing their respective Haynesville positions.

We look forward to continuing to find ways to partner with Nadel & Gussman in the future as well as developing our remaining assets with our partners at Quantent,” said Frost Cochran, Managing Director of Post Oak.

Post Oak Energy Capital, founded in 2006, targets North American upstream and minerals-and-royalty investments and has raised more than $3 billion across five funds.

Jefferies LLC served as financial advisor and Sidley Austin LLP served as legal advisor to Post Oak.
