Ardan Equity and GI Partners Invest in Clinical ink
The co-control investment gives the company capital to scale its technology platform globally and pursue opportunities connecting clinical trials with technology-enabled patient care.
Clinical ink, a Winston-Salem, North Carolina provider of electronic clinical outcome assessment and connected device clinical trial technologies, has a new co-control ownership structure backed by equity from Ardan Equity Fund I and GI Partners Fund VI. The company sells those tools to pharmaceutical sponsors and contract research organizations running complex clinical studies.
GI Partners Fund V and other existing investors exited as part of the transaction. Clinical ink's additional offices include Iowa, Pennsylvania and Copenhagen, Denmark, and GI Partners first backed the business in 2020.
