Preservation Capital Partners has sold Optio Group to Cinven and La Caisse, forming a new specialty insurance platform for the consortium.

The London-based managing general agent originates and underwrites more than 30 specialty risks across six business lines for over 60 third-party capacity providers, with 18 offices in 15 countries.

Cinven and La Caisse had been tracking the company for more than two years and plan to support organic growth and M&A in a fragmented market.
