CVC has agreed to invest in Unitex, a provider of linen rental, laundry processing, and textile management services for healthcare facilities. The Potack family will retain a significant ownership stake and continue to lead the business.
Founded in 1922 and based in Elmsford, New York, Unitex serves more than 5,000 hospitals, outpatient facilities, and nursing homes across the Northeast. This is the company’s first outside equity investment.
CVC will support commercial initiatives, digital capabilities, new facilities, and acquisitions.
