Western Botanicals adds Yellow Emperor
Adds a Eugene, Oregon contract manufacturer serving roughly 70 dietary supplement brand customers with end-to-end liquid formulation, bottling, labeling, and packaging services.
Founded in 1981, Yellow Emperor serves roughly 70 active customers, primarily dietary supplement brands, with end-to-end formulation, ingredient sourcing, bottling, labeling, and packaging. The deal is Western Botanicals' first add-on under Riverside ownership and brings liquid formulation capacity across multiple delivery formats to the platform.
“Consumers keep gravitating toward vitamin, mineral, and supplement (VMS) products and natural wellness solutions, creating attractive long-term growth for CDMOs with specialized capabilities,” said Riverside Brad Roberts, Co-Chief Investment Officer of Riverside’s Capital Appreciation strategy (RCAF).
