Avanta Salud acquires Vitaly Group
The combination creates an occupational health and safety platform covering over 240,000 clients and 4 million protected workers through 505 centres.
Avanta Salud Integral, the H.I.G. Capital-backed occupational health and safety platform, has agreed to acquire Vitaly Group, creating the largest OHS services provider in Iberia.
The combined group will serve more than 240,000 employer clients and approximately 4 million protected workers from 505 centres, employing around 5,500 people.
Both Avanta and Vitaly provide mandatory and elective workplace health services to a predominantly SME customer base across Spain.
Their core offering includes technical prevention, occupational medicine, health surveillance, risk engineering, training and compliance consulting, along with elective services such as mental health support, absenteeism management and in-company medical care.
Vitaly, based in Badajoz, was formed in 2022 through the merger of Grupo Preving and Cualtis and operates 387 centres with 147 mobile units.
Vitaly co-founders and co-CEOs Jesús Nieto and Andrés López will reinvest alongside H.I.G., Avanta founder Josep Pla and minority investor MCH Private Equity.
The transaction brings Vitaly’s advanced AI capabilities in back-office workflows and occupational health surveillance, which are expected to differentiate the enlarged platform and support further integration.
The group also plans to accelerate international expansion beyond Spain.
The acquisition consolidates two of the most dynamic and operationally sophisticated OHS businesses in Iberia in a highly regulated sector with resilient organic growth.
Europe backed the deal through its Avanta Salud platform, which focuses on mandatory, legally required workplace health services under Spanish and EU law.
