Sentinel Capital Partners sells NSI Industries to Hubbell Incorporated
The North Carolina-based manufacturer supplies more than 15,000 branded electrical products, including Bridgeport, Polaris, and Tork, to over 2,000 distributors.
Hubbell Incorporated has agreed to acquire NSI Industries from Sentinel Capital Partners for $3 billion, two years after Sentinel carved out the company’s HVAC unit to refocus it as a pure-play electrical products business.
Sentinel sold the HVAC division to Lennox International for $550 million, reshaping NSI around its branded electrical fittings, connectors, and components.
Based in Huntersville, North Carolina, NSI sells more than 15,000 products under the Bridgeport, Polaris, and Tork brands to over 2,000 distributors in North America.
The portfolio serves industrial, commercial, and infrastructure customers, with growing demand from data centers and power utility applications.
Hubbell, a Shelton, Connecticut-based manufacturer of utility and electrical solutions, reported $5.8 billion in 2025 revenue.
Lincoln International and Baird served as financial advisors to Sentinel on the transaction.
Kirkland & Ellis provided legal counsel.
