New Water Capital Partners has acquired LidWorks, a family-owned designer and manufacturer of food, beverage and specialty lids based in Plant City, Florida. Founded in 1985, the company serves national restaurant and convenience-store brands, as well as packaging manufacturers and distributors.
Its Florida facilities produce more than two billion lids a year. President Ugo Mazzarolo and the management team will work with New Water on added production capacity and acquisitions.
The investor plans to broaden LidWorks’ capabilities across foodservice packaging.
