Shadowbriar Capital Partners-backed Crossroads Seamless USA acquires Plymouth Tube's Winamac plant
The sale lets Plymouth Tube Co. focus on aerospace, defense, medical, nuclear and fluid power tubing while maintaining operations in Winamac, Indiana.
Shadowbriar Capital Partners-backed Crossroads Seamless USA took ownership of Plymouth Tube's Winamac plant from Plymouth Tube Co., continuing operations at the Winamac, Indiana facility that manufactures carbon and alloy seamless steel tubing.
The site includes cold draw, hot mill and quench-and-temper lines serving North American customers in construction, drilling, utilities, military, oil and gas and other industrial markets.
Terms were not disclosed.
“Plymouth is grateful to the Winamac employees who have delivered substantial value for customers and for Plymouth since 1962,” said Paul Lemke, Plymouth’s board chair.
George Thompson, who has 35 years of leadership experience in carbon and alloy steel tubing, joined Crossroads Seamless USA as president.
Stout Capital advised Plymouth; Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton represented the sellers, and McDonald Hopkins represented the buyer.
