Waterland Private Equity buys MBC (Minsait's business consulting division)

The carveout includes MBC, ALG and Nae, with nearly 1,700 professionals serving business transformation, transport, infrastructure and telecom clients.

Minsait's business consulting division, a professional services group spanning MBC, ALG and Nae and advising on business transformation, transport, infrastructure and telecom, is being carved out of Indra Group through a 100% sale to Waterland Private Equity.

The group has nearly 1,700 professionals and a strong presence in Spain and Mexico.

Indra Group will continue to work with the separated company under a preferred partnership covering joint opportunities and projects for shared clients.

Following closing, the business will operate as an independent platform with continuity across management, client relationships and professional teams.

Waterland plans to work with management on organic growth, international development, higher-value consulting capabilities and selective acquisitions across existing areas of expertise and geographies.

Terms were not disclosed, and closing remains subject to customary approvals and conditions.
